Two dead in far north Columbus crash where car caught fire
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — An adult and juvenile are dead and another juvenile is injured after a car crashed into a utility pole and caught fire on the far north side of Columbus.
According to Columbus police, a car was driving south at 8422 Sawmill Road at 10:49 p.m. north of Sawmill Reserve Drive. An adult was driving the car with a juvenile in the front seat and another juvenile in the back seat.

The driver lost control of the car and it spun across to the other side of the road and hit a utility pole. The car reportedly caught fire after hitting the pole, per a police dispatcher.
The driver and the front seat passenger were pronounced dead at the scene while the juvenile in the back seat was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital in stable condition for non life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time as police continue to investigate.
